Commercial Manager for an Innovative Solar Energy Company

As Commercial Manager, you manage existing customers and support business development internationally. As an excellent communicator, you find it easy to win new customers and expand existing customer business.

Target customers are large companies with multiple production sites around the world. All of which are on a path to decarbonize their production. Your Field of Activities - International and Diverse

You will be responsible for B2B sales of solar heat plants and solutions to a wide range of different segments with main priority of global businesses in Food & Beverage. In cooperation with the Commercial Director, you will also

  • Set the strategic commercial objectives and action plans for your customer portfolio in line with the company strategy.
  • Visit customers, end users and influencers and gain an understanding of customer project specifications and inquiries.
  • Make quotations, specifications, and budgets for sales projects.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, account status reports, and create strategic new business and account management plans.
  • Manage and develop relationships with existing clients and their multiple stakeholders on operational, management and executive levels.
  • Understand the clients’ requirements and translate them into implementable solutions together with our engineering team.

Your Profile - Business Oriented with a high interest in technology

You have international experience in sales and a good knowledge of process industries.

  • Skilled communicator and effective in translating technical knowledge into tangible sales
    specifications and quotations.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in a comparable position.
  • A proven track record of achieving ambitious sales objectives.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills at senior and mid-management level.
  • Proven skills in negotiating and closing complex deals.
  • Routine handling of sales management software (CRM) and MS Office.
  • Business fluent written and spoken English.
  • Proactive, communicative, and team-minded personality.

Who are we?

Heliac is a solar company located in Hørsholm, Denmark with a multidisciplinary team of currently 34 employees that specialize in natural sciences and business development. Heliac produces, delivers, installs, and operates novel solar heating systems based on our cost-efficient lenses. Our culture is characterised by informal communication, and our responsibilities span wide due to the nature of the tasks that require cross-departmental collaboration.
